- Provide support to Area Sales Managers, agents, and customers, while liaising with the workshop on product delivery.
- Process orders efficiently, prepare technical/commercial proposals, produce reliable quotations, and handle general administration work.
- Progress outstanding quotations to ensure order targets and forecasting requirements are met.
- Deploy a continuous improvement approach to all aspects of the role.
- Liaise with other departments to improve workflow processes where possible.
- A technical qualification such as ONC in Mechanical Engineering or A Levels in Maths/Science.
- Proven customer service skills.
- Strong communication skills and IT literacy.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks.
- Initiative and self-motivation.
- Willingness to learn and ability to work as part of a team.
- Experience in the manufacturing or engineering industry is desirable but not essential.
