This position is for senior Process Engineers to lead manufacturing development at a state-of-the-art facility for a global manufacturer of digital technologies.
Candidates should have a background in process engineering with experience in manufacturing development and process optimization, along with a degree in engineering or physics.
The role involves leading the development and optimization of advanced manufacturing processes while supporting current production lines and driving continuous improvement.
A salary of £60,000 to £75,000 is offered, depending on experience, with a preference for candidates with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Desirable qualifications include MEMS fabrication and semiconductor experience, as well as proficiency in CAD systems and software such as Python or MATLAB.

Role Overview:

Reporting into Head of NPI and working alongside a team of process and equipment engineers and supervisors/Team Leaders
Lead development, optimisation and support of advanced manufacturing processes
Accountable for sustaining current production lines and NPI, driving continuous improvement

What are we looking for?

A process engineering background with an understanding of manufacturing development and process optimization
Qualifications: a degree in engineering or physics. Good understanding of failure analysis and statistical tools.
Personality: leader who can mentor and influence decision making. Someone who can show initiative and creativity
Desirable: MEMS fabrications and semiconductor experience. Use of CAD systems and Software (Python/MATLAB)
