An opportunity to join this established procurement team of this hugely successful business based outside St Ives, Cambridgeshire. With hybrid working available this role offers a secure and long-term career path with strong development opportunities.Key areas of focus will include identifying suppliers and building long-term relationships to drive innovation and value; negotiate with suppliers to secure costs savings targets; placing of orders; allocation of stock and identifying issues; supporting internal stakeholders and providing advice and procurement expertise; and updating and communicating reporting and KPIs.To succeed in this role, you will have demonstrable procurement experience, ideally from a fast-moving commercial environment. The ideal candidate will have started their CIPS qualifications although this is beneficial and not essential. With a strong attention to detail, highly developed planning and organising skills, you will be adept at building relationships with excellent communication and influencing skills.
