Specialist and leading Groundworks Contractor operating across East Anglia, Lincolnshire and the Midlands with over 40 years of experience.
Your new role
Due to a growing order book across Cambridgeshire and the Midlands, they are now looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team based out of their office but with regular site visits.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day commercial aspects of construction projects.
  • Review and administer contractual terms throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Procure subcontractor packages in a timely manner, ensuring alignment with the scope of works and minimising contractual risks.
  • Source and procure materials according to project timelines and specifications.
  • Prepare and submit accurate client valuations and proactively request payments.
  • Measure subcontractor work and issue payment certificates in accordance with contract terms.
  • Report project costs and values accurately in line with financial reporting schedules.
  • Identify and escalate risks, opportunities, and concerns to senior management promptly.
  • Finalise the commercial aspects of projects, including closing out final accounts with clients and subcontractors.
  • Maintain and strengthen client relationships.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for new and repeat business.
  • Promote and uphold health and safety standards on-site, reporting any concerns to site or senior management.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
  • Represent the company professionally at all times.
