Time Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance engineer  to join our food manufacturing client based in Hyde. This is a great opportunity to join a market leader in there industry and to continue to expand on your knowledge within Machine and building maintenance. Our client is a leader in there field and are continuing to grow. This role is mainly electrically biased and relevant qualifications in electical installation and health and safety will be required. This role will be working independently so it is vital that the right candidate is proactive and is able to work solo. Duties of this role of Maintenance Engineer will include:

  • Carrying out maintenance on a variety of machines including, conveyors, metal detectors and blenders
  • Completing facilities maintenance tasks such as electrics, panel repairs and minor building repairs
  • Planning routine maintenance on machinery
  • Completing site safety checks
  • Liaising with site managers to plan maintenance around production.
  • Working with Power tools
  • Completing new installations
  • Keeping on top of all health and safety on-site

The successful candidate must:

  • Be comfortable solo working
  • Have relevant electrical and health and safety qualifications
  • Be flexible with working hours
  • Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a food manufacturing environment
