Armstrong Knight are working with a fast-growing, dynamic business operating in the Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) sector. With several active developments and more in the pipeline, they’re seeking a capable Bookkeeper to support the day-to-day financial operations of their student housing portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records across multiple student housing sites
  • Process purchase and sales invoices; manage AP/AR
  • Bank reconciliations and weekly/monthly cashflow monitoring
  • Assist with supplier payment runs and ledger maintenance
  • Support month-end routines and management reporting
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve finance-related queries
  • Work closely with the operations and finance teams to ensure accuracy and compliance

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience in a bookkeeping or assistant accountant role

  • Background in property, real estate, or student accommodation strongly preferred
  • Proficient in Xero, QuickBooks, or similar systems
  • Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
  • AAT qualified or QBE
  • Clear communicator with a proactive, team-first attitude
