Reeson Education is recruiting an enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join primary schools across Waltham Forest from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate considering a career in teaching, psychology, or SEN to gain valuable classroom experience in Walthamstow, Leyton, and Chingford.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support children in EYFS, KS1, and KS2, providing 1:1 support, small group interventions, and general classroom assistance. Many of the roles involve working with pupils who have SEN such as autism, ADHD, or SEMH.
Graduate Teaching Assistant - Key Details:
Daily rate: 82.14 - 100 per day
Full-time, term-time role starting September 2025
Work alongside teachers and SENCOs to support learning
Gain hands-on classroom and SEN experience
Ideal Candidate:
A Graduate Teaching Assistant with a degree in Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies, or similar
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with children or young people (paid or voluntary)
Patient, proactive, and passionate about supporting education
