Graduate Teaching Assistant

This is the perfect opportunity for a Graduate Teaching Assistant looking to build hands-on SEN experience before moving into teacher training, educational psychology, speech & language pathways or specialist SEN roles.

Schools in Walthamstow, Leyton and Chingford urgently need flexible Graduate Teaching Assistants who can step in at short notice to support pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH needs and communication challenges. As a daily supply Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will experience a variety of settings while gaining invaluable, paid classroom experience.

• Pay: 82.14-100 per day

• Start: ASAP

• Working Pattern: Fully flexible, choose the days you want

• Location: Primary schools across Waltham Forest

• Contract: Daily supply

• Provide 1:1 or small-group support for pupils with SEN

• Assist class teachers with lesson delivery and daily routines

• Support pupils with communication, emotional regulation and engagement

• Adapt quickly to new schools and classrooms

• Build essential child-development and SEN experience

• A motivated Graduate Teaching Assistant with a degree in Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies, Sociology, English or similar

• Someone who wants to build SEN experience before further training
