A friendly, community-driven, larger than average Junior school in Ilford are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join them on a full time basis

The school is extremely unique in its offering, and boasts excellent outside space and a great organisational feel. 

The role involves supporting children with learning difficulties ( and those not acheiving at Age-related expectations) with Maths, French, English, and Phonics in small group sessions. It would also involve support whilst in whole class, and some 1:1 with chilldren who may have Autism. 

The successful candidate must bring energy to their role and be willing to be a flexible team player when called upon. The school is passionate in forging strong relations with parents to ensure that care and learning extends beyond the classroom, and therefore this will be expected of the successful Teaching Assistant.

The school is easily accessible from Ilford and Gants Hill Station

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;

  • Experience of supporting children with learning diffiuculties
  • A fully enhanced DBS registered to the update service, along with 2 professional references.
