We are currently recruiting on behalf of Southwark Council for a Deputy Team Manager to join their Adult Social Care Occupational Therapy Project. This leadership role offers the chance to supervise and support a multidisciplinary team of Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, and other care professionals in delivering high-quality, person-centred care for vulnerable adults. Key Requirements:
Must be a qualified Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, or registered care professional with relevant leadership experience
Proven supervisory experience managing multi-disciplinary teams within adult social care
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, statutory frameworks, and strength-based assessment approaches
Ability to provide expert guidance, clinical oversight, and leadership to frontline staff
Committed to promoting independence and choice for vulnerable adults
Able to work 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based in Southwark with some flexibility
