Join an established Home Care Agency experiencing considerable growth as a Human Resources and Operations Manager. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and providing strong management and leadership. You will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of personalised care and support for our diverse clientele, including onboarding and retention of staff.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of all services, including domiciliary services and supported living schemes.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations including Health & Safety, COSHH, and more.
  • Manage and support a team of three managers across different services.
  • Responsible for the recruitment, training, and retention of staff, ensuring compliance with legislative guidelines and best practices.
  • Lead and mentor a team, ensuring high standards of personalised care are consistently delivered.
  • Manage budgets, make strategic decisions, and support the Registered Manager in running the service.
  • Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and ensure high-quality service that meets the needs of service users.
  • Network and promote the ethos of the organisation, maintaining professional relationships with external bodies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven organisational and leadership skills.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation and good care principles.
  • IT literacy in Excel, Word, Email, ECM, and Coordination Software.
  • Experience in managing emergency situations effectively and safely.
  • Minimum of a Level 5 qualification in a relevant field is desirable.
  • Own transport is advantageous.
