We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Lewisham from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent role, ideal for a dedicated teacher with strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring young minds. The ability to teach Biology, Chemistry, or Physics to KS4 is essential; experience with KS5 is desirable but not required.
Key Responsibilities:Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Science lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Teach one or more science specialisms (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics), with opportunities to contribute to KS5 if appropriate.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
Foster a safe and stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity and academic achievement.
Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum and extra-curricular science-based activities.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and participate fully in school life, including parents' evenings and CPD.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in a Science-related subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school (ECTs are encouraged to apply).
