About the Role
We are recruiting Port Operatives to support day-to-day dockside and warehouse operations at our busy port facility. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely movement of goods and cargo.
Key Responsibilities
Loading and unloading vessels, containers, and vehicles
Handling, securing, and moving cargo safely and efficiently
Operating port machinery and equipment (training provided where necessary)
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Following health & safety, environmental, and security procedures at all times
Assisting with general warehouse and yard duties as required
Requirements
Previous experience in port, warehouse, or logistics operations preferred (not essential)
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
Safety-conscious, reliable, and hardworking
Flexible with working hours, including shift work, evenings, and weekends
Forklift, loading shovel, or plant licences (desirable but not essential - training available)
