Finance Business Partner (Commercial) - Regional (Hybrid with Travel) - £65,000 - £75,000 + Car, Bonus and benefits

Location: Scotland & North East (Including Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Blackpool, Newcastle, Stockton & Sunderland)

FryerMiles is delighted to be working with a market leading, multi-site leisure and entertainment business that are seeking a commercially focused Finance Business Partner to join their high performing finance team during a period of growth and transformation.

The successful candidate will influence performance at a regional level by providing analysis, shaping investment decisions, and working closely with operational leaders across the region. You'll act as a key strategic advisor and financial lead for a diverse group of venues, delivering value far beyond traditional reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted business partner to regional operational leadership, including the Regional Operations Manager and venue General Managers.
  • Lead the Data & Revenue Reporting function, ensuring accurate and timely reporting across weekly, monthly, and annual cycles.
  • Deliver in-depth performance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, translating data into actionable insights.
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, including stakeholder engagement, financial modelling, and performance tracking.
  • Take ownership of investment model development and review, assessing project viability and informing strategic decisions.
  • Support in the automation of reporting and development of predictive forecasting tools to enhance revenue and margin planning.
  • Own specific cost lines, driving accountability, efficiency, and value creation.
  • Champion continuous improvement of finance processes and analytical capability across the business.
  • Travel frequently within the region to engage directly with venue teams and operational leadership.

Requirements:

  • Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent by experience.
  • Proven track record of success in a commercial finance or business partnering role, ideally within a multi-site or hospitality/retail environment.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and present insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills; able to engage at all levels of the business, including senior leadership.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment with shifting priorities.
  • Enthusiastic about driving performance improvement through financial insight and innovation.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel across the designated region on a regular basis.
