Salary C: £65k base (Inclusive of Car Allowance) + Commission ( OTE £100k+ ) & Benefits

Our client is a well- respected Freight Global Forwarding Company with Complete Global Coverage.

Due to their continued expansion, they are looking for a New Business BDM to join their team.

  • Driving growth of the business to new customers
  • Generating new leads and maintaining a healthy pipeline
  • Effectively communicate with potential new customers to drive both continued revenue, profit growth and increased engagement
  • A proven ability to put the customer’s requirements at the heart of what we do, striving to deliver high quality customer service at all times
  • Build and maintain strong and long-lasting relationships with customers and suppliers, quickly addressing their needs and ensuring any issues and challenges are resolved swiftly
  • Communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of organisations
  • Negotiating and finalising contracts with prospective customers
  • Visiting customer/potential customers to promote the company services
  • Understanding and promoting the company strategy
  • Establishing key contacts, relationships and connections across the wider sector
  • Developing a deep understanding of the customers’ business including group and extended opportunities, competitive influences on the business, networking
  • Ensuring potential customers are aware of the latest solutions.
  • Identifying cross-functional service/product opportunities
  • Work with operations and project teams to ensure swift and high quality onboarding of customers

Preferred skills & experience

Ā· Proven and successful track record of Air and Sea Freight Sales.

Ā· Demonstrable achievements in a similar role within the logistics market

Ā· Strong understanding of working collaboratively across functions to achieve success

Ā· Experience of working within a fast paced, high growth logistics environment
