KM4HR are recruiting for a Senior HR Business Partner for our client with offices based in the Central Scotlish area.

As a regional lead you will be taking on the responsibility of a stakeholder group c.600 people advising on and managing generalist HR projects including employee related issues.

Reporting to the Head of department we are looking for someone who has worked with a diverse client group from grassroots to senior leadership and who can operate at a strategic level, translating business strategies into people priorities. It will be expected that you will lead I specific areas and deliver parts of the wider people plan as part of this regional team.

We’re looking for a heavily involved Business Partner for this role specifically in the areas of;

  • Business Change & Transformation
  • Employee Relations
  • Talent Development and Recruitment
  • Leadership support, including Coaching

Wider responsibilities will also include;

  • Workforce Planning - building actionable strategic workforce plans
  • Developing and delivering regional people plan for your business area
  • Advising all levels of management and people leaders within your region for all employee related matters
  • Contributing to the broader business strategies, beyond the immediate People agenda
  • Leading on key projects including DEI, Talent & EVP
  • Supporting the talent agenda
  • Analysis of key themes, trends (internal and external) and performance metrics to make recommendations for the wider business and your specific business areas
  • Ensuring compliance to minimise the number of tribunals, grievances and complaints that occur because of breaches of policy and/or procedure
  • Developing effective working relationships with local Trade Union representatives
  • Identifying and proactively managing/mitigating people risks.

  • Demonstrable experience providing professional, risk-based advice.
  • Broad knowledge and experience across the full spectrum of People activities.
  • A strong understanding and depth of practical experience in leading on organisational design and effectiveness.
  • Confidence and proven ability dealing with Trade Unions and negotiations.
  • Ability to analyse complex situations and make well-considered decisions quickly and confidently.
  • Experience of managing projects from initiation to implementation and review.
  • Ability to think long term as well as in the short term.
  • Confident with large volumes of data and comfortable working in highly confidential environments.
  • CIPD qualified.
