They seeking a Junior Accountant who has worked within an accountancy practice and is ready to bring their foundational knowledge into a client-focused, fast-paced environment. You'll be working across a variety of client portfolios, assisting with accounting, bookkeeping, tax preparation, and more.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
Handle bookkeeping tasks using cloud-based software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
Prepare VAT returns and assist with tax computations
Support senior accountants in audits and financial reporting
Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with regulations
Liaise directly with clients to request documents or resolve queries
Requirements:
Previous experience working in an accountancy practice (essential)
Familiarity with accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or similar)
Part-qualified AAT/ACCA/ACA or studying towards a qualification
Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills
Effective communicator with a proactive attitude
