Details:
Our client is looking to appoint a Bookkeeper on a part time basis for approximately 16 - 25 hours per week (additional hours may be available to suit). This role is to be home based with occasional visits to the office in Inverness to review work.
Duties include:
- Input and reconciliation of client accounts, often from incomplete records.
- Bank account reconciliations.
- Input using Excel and financial software systems.
- Assisting in the preparation of VAT returns.
- Updating accurate and up to date client files.
- Ensuring all records are input and reconciled accurately for sign off.
- Additional ad hoc accounting/administration duties.
Person specification:
- Previous experience in a bookkeeping/accounts related role.
- Strong IT skills including MS Excel and financial software systems.
- Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Capable of working alone and managing a personal workload.
- Reliable and trustworthy with a strong work ethic.
