Global Highland are currently working with their well established client, a trusted name in office solutions across the Highlands. Currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper with strong Sage accounting experience to join their close-knit team.

About the Role:

As theBookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the smooth financial operation of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update Sage accounts system

  • Manage sales and purchase ledgers

  • Prepare VAT returns and submit to HMRC

  • Bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring

  • Payroll processing (if experienced)

  • Liaise with external accountants and assist with year-end preparations

  • ? What We're Looking For:

  • Proven bookkeeping experience, preferably in a small business

  • Proficiency in Sage 50 Accounts (or similar Sage software)

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities

  • Good communication skills and a team-player mindset
