We're hiring an Assistant Site Manager who knows how sites really work - someone who can balance practical know-how with leadership and organisation.
The Role:
Working closely with the Site Manager, you'll help oversee day-to-day site operations on construction projects. Your trade background and experience managing teams will be key to keeping things on track, on time, and to a high standard.
Responsibilities:
Support the Site Manager in coordinating site activities
Supervise and motivate trades and subcontractors
Maintain site safety and ensure HSE compliance
Assist with planning, scheduling, and progress tracking
Liaise with suppliers, clients, and inspectors
Monitor workmanship and uphold quality standards
About You:
Background in a skilled trade (e.g. carpentry, bricklaying, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
Experience supervising teams or working as a working foreman/ganger
Solid understanding of construction processes and site safety
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
CSCS & SSSTS required
SMSTS desirable
