With a strong foundation of experience and a forward-thinking approach, we are committed to delivering excellence across every aspect of our operations.The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the delivery of maintenance and response works across a high-profile Defence estate. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, MoD standards, and Health & Safety requirements, while maintaining operational efficiency and value for money.Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the supply chain to ensure appropriately qualified operatives are deployed.
  • Review and approve risk assessments and method statements.
  • Ensure compliance with Asbestos and Legionella management plans.
  • Oversee projects under CDM regulations from inception to completion.
  • Act as a key liaison with stakeholders, including the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO).
  • Lead and support a team, providing coaching, supervision, and performance monitoring.
  • Contribute to forward maintenance planning and business profitability.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and collaborative working environment.

What You'll Bring

  • Level 4 Facilities Management Qualification or equivalent technical experience.
  • Strong background in planned and response maintenance.
  • HNC qualification or equivalent/Trade background
  • Willingness to undertake additional responsibilities (e.g., Confined Space, Working at Height).
  • Professional memberships and NEBOSH or SMSTS certifications (desirable).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and commercial acumen.
