Repair Technician (Progression to Plant Fitter)£30,000 - £33,000 + Monday to Friday + Training on Equipment + Progression to Plant Fitter + Company Bonuses Ipswich, SuffolkAre you a Repair Technician or similar with experience repairing handheld tools and PAT testing equipment, looking for a workshop based, Monday to Friday role for a thriving and growing tool hire specialist that provides continuous training and development with the scope to progress within the company?On offer is the opportunity to join a longstanding tool and plant equipment provider with numerous depots across the UK. They have nearly 40 years' experience and a team of highly skilled, dedicated engineers across the UK and are now looking to bolster the team with new Technicians to develop into fully fledged Plant Fitters.In this role you will be based in the Ipswich depot as a part of a team of seven. You will be expected to PAT test, service and maintain a range of electrical, petrol and diesel equipment, ensuring that the performance and quality of the tools are maintained. Training led by experts will be provided, leading to internal promotions within the business.This role would suit a Repair Technician or similar with experience PAT testing and repairing handheld tools, who is looking for a varied role with plenty of internal progression to senior roles.The Role

  • Workshop based Technician
  • PAT testing / repairing equipment
  • Monday to Friday from 7am to 5pm
  • Training and development to becoming a Plant Fitter
