Are you a Senior Manager with strong operational leadership experience within the Waste & Recycling sector, looking for a hands-on and varied role where you will take full responsibility for the performance, safety and efficiency of a major recycling depot?

On offer is the opportunity to join a long-standing, family-run market leader with over 50 years' experience. Operating across the waste and recycling industries, this company continues to grow and invest in its state-of-the-art facilities, offering excellent long-term prospects and autonomy in a key leadership position.

Your role will involve overseeing the full day-to-day operations of the company's Waste Recycling Facility (MRF). You will manage a team of around 15 staff including the Transport Manager, Business Support Manager, and EQHS team. You will ensure all operations run safely, efficiently and in full compliance with waste management legislation and company policies.

You will drive continuous improvement, reduce operational overheads, maximise resource value, ensure strong commercial performance and maintain an excellent safety culture across the site.

The role would suit an experienced leader from a waste, recycling, aggregates or similar heavy process environment looking full autonomy and the opportunity to work in a company known for looking after their staff.

The role
* Full operational leadership of the Waste Recycling Facility (MRF)
* Managing a team of approx. 15 including Transport, Business Support and EQHS
* Ensuring compliance with waste legislation, company policy and Health & Safety
* Driving site performance, cost control and continuous improvement

The person
* Senior Management experience within Waste / Recycling / MRF / Aggregates or similar
* Strong people management and leadership skills
* Commutable to Ipswich
