The Opportunity (Assistant Quantity Surveyor)

An established infrastructure contractor is seeking a Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support ongoing and upcoming projects across the civils and infrastructure sector. This is a great opportunity for someone with post-graduate experience looking to take the next step in a commercially focused role within a fast-paced, project-driven environment.



Key Responsibilities

  • Support the commercial team in delivering infrastructure projects from pre-contract to final account.

  • Assist in the administration of NEC contracts (Options A and C preferred).

  • Preparation and management of interim valuations and applications for payment.

  • Assist in cost reporting and change control.

  • Subcontract procurement and management.

  • Support senior commercial staff with contract administration and client communication.



Requirements

  • Degree-qualified (Quantity Surveying or similar).

  • Minimum 2 years post-graduate industry experience.

  • NEC contract experience is essential.

  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, detail-driven approach.

  • Background in infrastructure or civil engineering preferred, though other sectors will be considered.



Package

  • Salary: 40,000 - 50,000
