The role.

A newly created opportunity to join a growing Technical Department in a renowned business with huge potential for development and progression!

We’re on the lookout for a technically minded and motivated individual to join a professional and fast-paced team, providing high-quality administration support across live projects, technical specifications, and quality documentation.

You’ll be a team player who’s organised, accurate, and thrives on working with detail. If you enjoy variety in your day and want to be part of a collaborative and knowledgeable environment — this could be the perfect role for you!

This role is being offered as a 12 month fixed term contract (PAYE/salary)

Day to day responsibilities:

• Processing and preparing technical specifications
• Reviewing reports and project documentation
• Supporting the administration of live projects including checking material orders and issuing notifications
• Handling internal and external telephone enquiries professionally
• Liaising closely with clients, Area Technical Managers, and Site Technicians
• Coordinating communication across departments to ensure smooth project delivery
• Prioritising workloads and maintaining accuracy under pressure
• Using bespoke databases, Microsoft Word, and Excel
• General admin support and contributing to team discussions and continuous improvement

Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm. After successfully passing probation, you’ll have the option of hybrid workingor, if you prefer, you’re welcome in the office every day. The choice is yours!

If you’ve worked in a similar administration role — ideally with a technical or quality control focus — then we’d love to hear from you!

Solid admin experience, excellent IT skills, and a high level of accuracy are essential. You should be comfortable handling complex documentation and communicating confidently with both internal and external contacts.
