Due to our upcoming Si! Spa development located at The Waterside Hotel, we are seeking to recruit an exceptional Spa Manager to join the company at one of our Si Spa Ayrshire locations.

As Spa Manager you will build professional relationships with guests and lead the team in demonstrating a customer focused service. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the spas facilities, recruitment and maintaining of staff levels and monitoring of the spas financial performance. This will also include rota management and maximisation of the appointment diary.

You will have a passion for guest experience, specifically regarding relaxation and wellness, excellent personal presentation, the ability to plan and problem solve effectively, business acumen and sales awareness.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for spa and leisure, but also solid knowledge of departmental administration including stock controls, health and safety, and team development.

Job Expectations:

You should have the ability to create a strong team spirit and work closely with other departments across the hotel and leisure facilities

Consistently look at new ways to drive the business including creation of packages, input in marketing campaigns and ensuring return visits through handling of guest feedback and building and maintaining a loyal guest following

Understanding of income and expenditure, and management of expenses to ensure maximum profitability

Must possess hands-on experience in the spa and wellness field with the ability to train and develop team of all levels and abilities

Work closely with the marketing team to promote all aspects of Si! Spa

Implement, monitor and improve standards and procedures

Skills and Qualifications:

Be eligible to work in the UK

NVQ level 2 & 3 or equivalent

Have strong verbal and written communication skills

Possess the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively with previous experience within a luxury spa environment

Be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities and tasks

Previous experience with spa booking software essential

ESPA and ISHGA training is desirable but not essential

Pool Plant qualification and/or experience desirable but not essential

Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar supervisory role with 5 years therapist experience
