A passionate and fluent Modern Foreign Languages Teacher with a specialism in Spanish is required for a temporary full-time position at an Outstanding girls' school in Islington, commencing as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity to cultivate a love of the Spanish language and culture in students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16) in a supportive and high-achieving environment in central London.
Responsibilities
- You will plan and deliver engaging Spanish lessons that develop students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- The role involves fostering an appreciation for Spanish culture and encouraging students to communicate confidently in the language.
- You will cultivate a dynamic and interactive classroom environment where students feel motivated to participate and develop their linguistic abilities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Spanish is essential.
- Native or near-native fluency in Spanish is expected.
- Experience teaching engaging and effective Spanish lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, alongside strong classroom management and the ability to inspire a passion for languages, are vital.
