Role: Tax Senior / Manager Location: KeighleySalary: £35,000pa - £60,000 paHours: Monday – Friday,  9.00am – 5.00pm About the role: Our client, a well-established accountancy practice, is seeking an experienced Tax Senior / Manager to join their growing team following their recent move to larger premises. The ideal candidate will have a great understanding of tax regulations and financial accounting principles, with a strong ability to analyse complex financial data.This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with tax laws while providing strategic financial planning and advice to their clients. Key Responsibilities of the Tax Senior / Manger role:
  • Offer strategic tax planning advice to help clients optimise their financial outcomes.
  • Monitor legislative updates in tax law and evaluate their implications for clients.
  • Work closely with internal teams to align tax planning with broader business strategies.
  • Review and interpret financial statements to uncover potential tax efficiencies.
  • Manage the preparation and timely submission of tax returns, ensuring full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Handle HMRC enquiries and correspondence as they arise.
  • Maintain effective communication with HMRC, clients, and relevant regulatory authorities.
  • Support the growth and development of junior team members through mentoring and training.
  Experience / Qualifications Required:
  • Extensive experience in a senior tax management or related leadership role.
  • A recognised professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CTA is highly desirable.
  • In-depth understanding of current tax legislation and regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret and assess complex financial information.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously while also collaborating effectively within a dynamic team environment.
