- Offer strategic tax planning advice to help clients optimise their financial outcomes.
- Monitor legislative updates in tax law and evaluate their implications for clients.
- Work closely with internal teams to align tax planning with broader business strategies.
- Review and interpret financial statements to uncover potential tax efficiencies.
- Manage the preparation and timely submission of tax returns, ensuring full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Handle HMRC enquiries and correspondence as they arise.
- Maintain effective communication with HMRC, clients, and relevant regulatory authorities.
- Support the growth and development of junior team members through mentoring and training.
- Extensive experience in a senior tax management or related leadership role.
- A recognised professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CTA is highly desirable.
- In-depth understanding of current tax legislation and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret and assess complex financial information.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and effectively.
- Proven ability to work autonomously while also collaborating effectively within a dynamic team environment.
- Salary: £35,000pa - £60,000 pa
- Holidays: 23 days entitlement, plus statutory bank holidays.
