- Overseeing the preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Providing expert advice on tax planning strategies to optimise clients’ financial positions.
- Analysing financial statements and reports to identify tax-saving opportunities.
- Dealing with HMRC enquiry letters as and when they arise.
- Collaborating with other departments to integrate tax strategies into overall business plans.
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on clients.
- Mentor and develop junior staff members within the tax department.
- Liaise with HMRC, clients and regulatory bodies as necessary.
- Experience working as a Mixed Tax Senior / Mixed Tax Manager in an Accountancy Firm.
- Strong knowledge of tax legislation.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
- ACA, ACCA, ATT, or CTA qualified is desirable.
