We’re recruiting a Transactional Finance Manager for a high-growth FMCG business supplying premium food products across the UK.

You’ll lead a team of 6-7 across credit control and purchase ledger, with around 80% of the workload focused on sales ledger. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be responsible for driving performance, improving processes, and supporting the business with strong financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable and payable functions
  • Lead credit control: onboarding customers, setting limits, chasing debt, resolving issues
  • Oversee AP: invoice processing, approvals, payment runs, reconciliations, and supplier relationships
  • Support and develop the team, creating a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • Produce reporting including aged debt, cash forecasts, and supplier performance metrics
  • Work closely with the Financial Controller on systems and process enhancements
  • Contribute to smooth month-end close with accurate ledger reviews and journals

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong experience across accounts payable and/or credit control
  • Track record of managing and developing teams
  • Confident working in a high-volume, fast-moving environment
  • Skilled in using ERPs
  • Proactive, organised, and comfortable engaging with both customers and suppliers
