Account Senior

Location:Keighley, Yorkshire (BD20)

Salary: £35,000 £50,000 per annum (Dependent on Experience)

Were looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Accountant and/or Account

Manager to join our growing team as we enter an exciting new phase, following a move to

brand-new, larger offices.


In this client-facing role, youll manage a diverse portfolio including sole traders,

partnerships, and limited companies, with potential to progress into a manager-level position

for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accounts from both incomplete and computerised records
  • Complete company and personal tax returns
  • Liaise directly with clients on all accounting matters
  • Assist with VAT returns and bookkeeping when needed
  • Review work prepared by junior staff
  • Set up new client accounts and onboarding
  • Handle ad-hoc accounting projects as they arise

Requirements:

  • ACA / ACCA qualified or part qualified
  • At least 3 years recent experience within a UK accountancy practice
  • Strong technical knowledge in accounts preparation for a range of entities
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commercially minded with the ability to contribute to business growth
  • Proficient in accounting software (CCH, Sage, Xero preferred)
  • Confident in Microsoft Excel and Word
