This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive environment that values professional development, flexibility and individual contributions.The Family Solicitor will provide a professional, responsive service to clients, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. They will also contribute to promoting the firm’s reputation for excellence and client care.Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied caseload including divorce, financial remedy and private law children matters
  • Deliver clear and empathetic legal advice during emotionally challenging times
  • Represent clients in negotiations and, when required, court proceedings
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and liaise with external professionals
  • Maintain commercial awareness through accurate time recording, timely billing and effective credit control
  • Support departmental growth through business development and client engagement
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and full regulatory compliance

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ PQE/experience in family law, with a strong focus on divorce and finance
  • Excellent client care skills with a sensitive and professional approach
  • Confident in independently managing a caseload
  • Willing to travel to other offices or attend client meetings when needed
  • Resolution membership or currently working towards it (desirable but not essential)
