We are seeking an experienced ER/People Specialist on a temporary basis to join a Warwickshire based team on a temporary basis, with the potential for permanent employment for the right candidate. This role is crucial for developing and maintaining positive employee relations and fostering a productive and harmonious work environment. The successful candidate will manage employee grievances, ensure compliance with employment laws, and promote fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop and implement strategies and programs to foster positive relationships and a productive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, and provide guidance on employee relations matters.
- Investigate and resolve employee grievances through thorough and impartial investigations.
- Mediate discussions between employees and to resolve conflicts and promote effective communication.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance understanding and awareness among employees.
- Analyse employee relations data and trends to recommend proactive solutions.
- Conduct exit interviews, analyse feedback, and recommend improvements.
- Liase and support and legal teams to ensure consistent interpretation and application of HR policies.
- Monitor employee morale and engagement, proposing initiatives to improve satisfaction.
- Provide day-to-day HR and administrative support, ensuring smooth operations within the HR department.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an ER/People Specialist or similar role.
- Ability to work in a stand alone role
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong conflict resolution and mediation skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough investigations, maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
- CIPD or similar qualification or working towards.
- Professional certifications in employee relation or mediation would be of benefit but not required
