Are you an ambitious Assistant Town Planner with a passion for delivering well-designed, sustainable developments? I'm currently working with a leading national housebuilder renowned for their high-quality residential schemes, who are looking to expand their in-house planning team based in Warwickshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 1-3 years of experience in town planning-either in the private or public sector-who is looking to develop their career in a fast-paced, commercially-driven environment.

The Role:

You'll be joining a highly experienced team supporting the planning function across a portfolio of sites, from early-stage promotion through to full applications and post-consent work. You'll work closely with land, technical, and design teams to help secure permissions for much-needed new homes across the region.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with preparing and submitting planning applications and supporting documents

  • Conduct planning appraisals to assess development opportunities

  • Monitor local plans and policy changes

  • Liaise with local authorities, consultants, and internal teams

  • Support senior planners with appeals and community consultations

About You:
  • Degree in Town Planning or related field (RTPI accredited)

  • Working towards or recently achieved RTPI membership

  • Strong communication and report-writing skills

  • A proactive and organised approach to work

  • Interest in residential development and the private sector
