You MUST hold a valid and FULL UK driving license and possess your own transport, as the yard is based in a semi-rural location. Please DO NOT apply if you do not possess your own transport. Also do you live within a reasonably commutable distance to Keston (BR2)?

I am assisting an expanding and highly regarded Gardening & Grounds Maintenance business based near Bromley (BR2) in their search for an experienced Gardener who possesses a full UK driving licence. This opportunity is being offered on full time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday (40 hours per week) - and you will be covering Bromley and the surrounding areas.

The successful candidate will enjoy a varied role, undertaking all aspects of gardening and ground maintenance duties whilst delivering flawless customer service.

Gardener Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining the appearance of the grounds, including mowing, weeding, pruning, and watering
  • Planting new trees, shrubs, flowers, and maintaining existing landscape features
  • Applying fertilizers and pesticides as needed, following safety protocols
  • Clearing and disposing of plant waste
  • Operating and maintaining gardening equipment and tools
  • Keeping pathways and outdoor areas clear of debris

What do you need?

  • Valid driver's licence (Cat B) with a clean driving record
  • Proven experience as a Gardener, or as a Grounds Maintenance person gained in a residential, public space, or a commercial setting
  • Previous experience in gardening or grounds maintenance essential
  • Ability to operate gardening equipment safely
  • A good geographical knowledge of the Bromley, Bexley and Croydon boroughs
  • Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • PA1 / PA6 tickets (ideally)
  • Hold a current (or be willing to undertake) a basic DBS check
