Role Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality audit, accounting, and client advisory services
- Prepare and review client accounts, tax returns, and VAT-related work to the required standard
- Lead and complete audit assignments both on-site and remotely
- Support partners and managers on compliance and planning matters
- Identify opportunities for added-value services and proactively communicate them to clients
- Manage ad hoc assignments and technical client queries, particularly within corporate services
- Liaise directly with clients to collect information, resolve queries, and maintain strong professional relationships
- Assist with remuneration planning exercises and corporate tax planning
- Supervise and coach trainees, reviewing their work and supporting their development
- Use accounting software (including Xero) and firm systems efficiently, and stay up to date on technical developments
- Support marketing efforts such as client seminars and local networking events under the guidance of senior staff

Candidate Requirements- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a UK accountancy practice
- Strong audit and accounts preparation knowledge
- Solid understanding of UK tax compliance (personal, corporate, and VAT)
- Confident using cloud-based accounting systems such as Xero
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Skilled communicator who can build rapport and deliver advice with clarity
- Able to manage time, meet deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail
- £42,000 to £52,000 pa
