Are you a skilled payroll professional seeking a pivotal role? A confidential organisation located in Kettering is recruiting for a full-time Payroll Lead to join their finance department. This permanent role provides the opportunity to ensure efficient and accurate payroll operations for an expanding group.

Responsibilities

-Process high volume multisite payroll liaising with provider

- Design and improve payroll processing methods (wages, benefits, deductions, tax, third-party remittances)

- Provide guidance, training, and ongoing support to payroll staff

- Manage prompt and precise payroll execution and reporting, including journal postings

- Stay current with legislative changes and employment law requirements

- Coordinate with auditors and oversee compliance checks

- Work alongside HR and accountancy colleagues to share relevant data

- Lead the implementation of new payroll programs and manage data transitions from acquired businesses

- Keep meticulous records and generate regular reports

- Troubleshoot payroll concerns and respond to queries

- Monitor and assess performance indicators within the payroll function

  • Experience with high volume multisite payroll
