We are recruiting for an experienced, qualified Chartered Surveyor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys, collecting data, and preparing accurate reports to assist in the planning and development of various projects. The Surveyor will utilise advanced technology and software tools to ensure precision in measurements and data management, contributing to the successful completion of projects.

Duties

  • Conduct land surveys using a variety of surveying instruments and techniques.
  • Collect, analyse, and manage data related to land features, boundaries, and topography.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Prepare reports documenting survey findings, methodologies, and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards in all surveying activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of surveys and data management processes.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Land Surveying or a related field is preferred.
  • RICS qualified.
  • Strong knowledge of land surveying principles and practices.
  • Excellent data management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Good communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and colleagues.

This role will involve site visits so you will therefore need a full driving licence and access to a business use, insured vehicle.
