What You'll Do:

  • Provide ongoing senior-level professional cover, leveraging your MCIPS qualification to guide our procurement processes.
  • Develop successful strategies that align with organisational goals, providing professional guidance to stakeholders.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with a solid understanding of contract law, ensuring compliance and best practises.
  • Oversee the procurement of goods and services across various categories, including Professional Services, IT, FM, and Travel/Fleet.
  • Monitor and review service level and framework agreements to ensure quality and performance.
  • Prepare and produce essential documentation related to contracts, service-level agreements, and framework documentation.

What We're Looking For:

  • Professional Membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS) is a must!
  • Proven experience in both commercial and public sector procurement, with an understanding of general business issues.
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiating and managing contracts, particularly with non-standard requirements.
  • Familiarity with modern contract forms under EU procurement legislation and regulations.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised while maintaining high performance.
  • Strong capability to monitor service level agreements and frameworks effectively.
