Your new roleYou will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping and sustaining a specialist built environment. You will be responsible for the strategic planning, delivery, and optimisation of both facilities management and infrastructure development services across this complex and high-performing estate. This role is central to ensuring the resilience, compliance, and operational excellence of property assets. You will lead on the delivery of areas such as statutory maintenance, lifecycle asset management, and sustainability, whilst overseeing refurbishment and infrastructure improvement development projects.This is a high-impact role with accountability for a portfolio of projects valued at £100m, requiring strong leadership, technical expertise, and stakeholder engagement. What you'll need to succeedThis is a senior leadership role requiring a rare blend of strategic vision, technical expertise, and operational excellence. You will be the 'go to' expert for complex, organisation-wide challenges, influencing both internal strategy and external stakeholder engagement.

  • Degree in a property-related subject - building services, facilities management, construction, building surveying, property development, or a related discipline.
  • Chartered membership of a relevant professional body - IWFM, CIOB, CIBSE, RICS etc.
  • NEC4 contract management accreditation and experience administering complex capital and FM projects.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory compliance and building safety regulations.
