Key Responsibilities

Site Operations & Management:Supervise day-to-day operations, coordinate all civil engineering/groundworks activities (excavation, foundations, drainage, retaining walls, etc.), and manage site logistics and deliveries.
Health & Safety and Environmental Compliance

Quality Control & Assurance
Subcontractor & Team Management
Documentation & Reporting
Stakeholder Communication

Key Skills & Qualifications

Experience:Proven experience as a Site Manager with a strong background in civil engineering and groundworks, specifically on new build housing or residential developments.
Technical Knowledge

Core Qualifications (Essential):
- SMSTS(Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
- CSCS(Construction Skills Certification Scheme) Card (ideally Black Manager's Card, which requires an NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management).
- First Aid at Workcertification.
- Full UK driving licence.
