Health and Safety Advisor

Connect Appointments have a unique opportunity for a Health and Safety Advisor to join our established client in Kilmarnock on a permanent basis!

What's on offer?

• 37 hours per week
• Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4:30pm. Friday, 8:30am to 1:30pm
• 40,000 to 45,000 per annum (DOE)

The successful Health and Safety Advisor will be responsible for:

• Auditing and improving current HSE practices and policies
• Delivering training to internal staff on various aspects of HSE, including policies and standard operating procedures
• Investigating and record any incidents
• Developing a risk assessment and safe working procedure program

To be successful as a Health and Safety Advisor, you will:

• Be NEBOSH qualified
• Have previous experience in a HSE role (ideally within a manufacturing environment)
• Have the ability to carry out risk assessments and method statements
• Be able to take care of Health and Safety inspections on-site
