Graduate Field Chemist (No experience required)

Working hours: Monday to Friday - 7 AM - 4 PM/8 Am - 5 PM

The purpose of this role is the collection and segregation of small pack chemicals, ensuring chemicals are segregated as appropriate for storage in warehouse and offsite disposal.

Primarily centred around Waste Management, this business is expanding rapidly in the fields of Resource Recovery and Circular Economy, ensuring nothing truly goes to waste. They are leading key UK and Ireland sustainability projects as they look to recycle more materials ranging from Metals, Plastics and Oil through to Hazardous Waste and identifying ways to utilise these to create clean energy and fully recycled products.

Role Responsibilities:

  • To carry out listing of waste chemicals for customers
  • Packing and preparing chemicals at customer sites, transporting them to the warehouse for further prep or disposal
  • Warehouse (non-lab) based role but sometimes assist with all laboratory activities as and when required.
  • To arrange offsite lab testing as and when required.
  • Loading/Unloading Trucks and Tankers

What We Are Looking For?

  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Chemistry
  • Full Driver's License
  • ADR is beneficial but can be trained
  • Good communication skills
  • Can work well as part of a team
