SF Group are excited to be working with a business in search of a Finance Director.

This position is within a fast-paced and complex business environment. You'll lead the UK finance function, ensuring strong financial governance, accurate reporting, and meaningful commercial insights - all while maintaining compliance with SOX and US GAAP requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the UK finance team, overseeing all aspects of financial reporting and compliance
  • Ensure adherence to SOX controls and US GAAP accounting standards
  • Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting in line with group deadlines
  • Act as a strategic partner to the UK leadership team, influencing decision-making with robust financial insight
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and variance analysis
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of financial systems and controls
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and group finance teams globally

About You:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with post-qualification experience in a senior finance leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of SOX compliance and US GAAP reporting standards
  • Commercially focused, with the ability to add value beyond the numbers
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
