Head of People & Culture

Location: DudleyReports to: Managing PartnerContract Type: Full-time, Permanent / Hybrid Working Salary: £50,000

As the Head of People & Culture you will lead the development and execution of my client's people strategy and will be a key member of the leadership team, acting as a trusted advisor while driving initiatives across talent acquisition, performance, employee engagement, diversity & inclusion, and organisational development. This role will be central in fostering a high-performance and inclusive culture aligned with our values and legal excellence.

Job Role:

  • Develop and implement a progressive People & Culture strategy aligned with the organisation's goals.
  • Partner with the leadership team to embed values, culture, and behaviours that reflect the firm's mission.
  • Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle
  • Develop workforce plans to meet current and future needs
  • Design and implement initiatives to improve employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
  • Champion internal communications, feedback mechanisms, and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Advance their DEI strategy with tangible actions and metrics.
  • Promote a workplace culture that embraces diverse perspectives and equitable opportunity.
  • Manage employee relations
  • Lead initiatives that promote employee wellbeing, work-life balance, and a psychologically safe workplace.

About You:

  • Proven experience in a senior HR or People leadership role, preferably in a professional services or legal environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and regulatory considerations.
  • Demonstrated success in building and executing people strategies that support growth and transformation.
  • Skilled in employee engagement, change management, and organisational development.
  • Experience in coaching and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • CIPD Level 5 or above
