The Role

As their HR Administrator, you’ll play a key role in providing comprehensive HR support across the full employee lifecycle. This is a hands-on, stand-alone role where you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage HR processes across the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to offboarding
  • Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, offering guidance to employees and managers
  • Support formal processes, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance improvement procedures
  • Maintain up-to-date HR policies and ensure legal compliance
  • Coordinate onboarding and induction, ensuring all health & safety and training requirements are met
  • Assist with payroll activities and be able to cover in the Payroll Manager’s absence
  • Administer pensions and employee benefits, liaising with providers
  • Keep the Breathe HR system accurate and fully utilised
  • Support training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and engagement
  • Monitor and manage absence and leave records, using the Bradford Factor to ensure consistency
  • Work closely with leadership on HR projects that align with business goals
  • Foster an inclusive workplace through engagement initiatives
  • Maintain accurate employee records and correspondence

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience in an HR administration role, ideally stand-alone
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Great time management and organisational skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Strong customer service approach and ability to work under pressure
  • Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • GCSE English and Maths (grade A–C) or equivalent
  • CIPD Level 3 or working towards (desirable)
  • Experience with Breathe HR (desirable)
  • Flexibility to travel to other sites if needed
