Are you a creative and committed Design & Technology Teacher looking for a fresh challenge? Dunbar Education is delighted to be supporting a well-regarded secondary school in Dudley in their search for a full-time, permanent DT Teacher to start in September 2025.

About the Role:This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving school community where innovation and hands-on learning are at the heart of the curriculum. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality DT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging students to develop practical skills, design thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective DT lessons

• Teach a range of DT disciplines (e.g. product design, resistant materials, graphics, or food technology, depending on expertise)

• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback

• Contribute to curriculum development and extra-curricular activities

• Maintain a safe and well-organised workshop environment

What We're Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Experience teaching DT in a secondary school setting

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• Passion for practical learning and innovation

• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
