Transport Controller - Kirkby Thore
Pay Rate- 14.18 per hour
Shifts: Alternating - 06:00-14:30 / 14:00-22:30

Are you ready for a new challenge or looking for a role where you can grow and develop? We're currently recruiting a Transport Controller to join a busy transport operation based in Kirkby Thore.
In this key role, you'll help ensure the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day transport activities on-site, supporting both the operational team and customer expectations.
What you'll be doing:
Coordinating transport operations on and off-site to ensure timely and efficient service
Reporting and escalating any vehicle defects
Communicating face-to-face with drivers and on-site customer representatives
Supporting general transport administration and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
What we're looking for:
Computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
A calm and professional approach when dealing with challenging situations
Confidence communicating with stakeholders at all levels
Desirable (but not essential):
Understanding of transport compliance, including tachographs, infringements, and working hours
