About the Role:
As the Purchase Ledger Assistant, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the finance function. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and fast-paced environment where your skills will be valued and your contributions recognised.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process high volumes of purchase invoices
- Maintain supplier accounts and resolve queries in a timely manner
- Take full responsibility for preparing and processing the monthly payment run
- Reconcile supplier statements and ensure ledgers are kept clean and up to date
- Support the wider finance team with ad hoc duties as required
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in a purchase ledger/accounts payable role
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workload effectively
- Confident using accounting systems and Excel
- Must be able to reliably commute to Lancaster
