Payroll Specialist
Location: Lancaster

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a well-established and friendly team based in Lancaster. This is a key role within the business, responsible for managing end-to-end payroll for both weekly and monthly employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing accurate and timely payrolls on a weekly and monthly basis using SAGE Payroll
  • Ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations and current payroll legislation
  • Maintaining accurate payroll records and handling employee queries effectively
  • Processing starters, leavers, pensions, statutory payments, and other payroll-related adjustments
  • Collaborating with internal departments to ensure smooth payroll operations

You Will Have:

  • Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing
  • Up-to-date knowledge of HMRC guidelines and statutory requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Proficiency in SAGE Payroll is essential
